Success Story of CSE Project Show - Fall 2019

Dept. of CSE, UIU have successfully arranged UIU CSE Project Show, the biggest and the most awaiting intra-university competition was held successfully on Monday, 9th December 2019. Students from various lab courses (Hardware & Software) participated in this event. The main aim of this project show is to inspire students to take the challenge of building innovative projects that can contribute to society and help the people in day-to-day activity. It also teaches them to work as a team, and boost up their confidence to make them able to present & pitch their work to the audience. Extraordinary projects were rewarded to encourage the participants for their innovative ideas.

In this Fall session, a total of more than 40 hardware and IoT projects were showcased by the students from different courses. To help the students for their projects, UIU Robotics opened their room (610) to be used as an incubator. UIU Robotics also provided mentorship to all the teams. The club members were constantly present to assist the participants in their projects. The brilliant executives of UIU Robotics, who have worked in various projects of the club and who have also worked as an Undergraduate Assistant for various hardware courses, have mentored the projects in addition to their lab times. They have worked relentlessly to provide technical assistance to the students. They almost provided full-time support until 7 PM, every day regularly from 1st December to 8th December. We must thank Mizanur Rahman, Furkan Elahi, Proshanta Kumer, Ifrahan Aqib, Robiuddin, Al Fahad, Faizah Farzana, Mukid, Saiful, Akib Bhiuya, Dip and all other people who are involved.

In this Trimester, some of the featured attractions of this project show were the Website, Project Management Tool (Developed by UIU Robotics) and the Certificate Verification System. UIU Robotics launched a new Project show site ( to create a project hub where students can display their projects virtually. They also introduce Project Management Software for the Participants and a Certificate verification system ( Dept. of CSE also announced a "Logo Design Competition" on the CSE Project Show logo.
